Depending on what your personal likes and dislikes and interests are, you can easily chalk out a one-day program in and around Salalah.

You could choose from mausoleums, to beaches, to natural wonders, to parks, to malls, to heritage villages, to frankincense fields, to traditional souqs, to many other local attractions.

You could also seek the help of the local concierge to guide you on the best one-day itinerary depending on what you fancy.

Hi anoym,

Just to let you know many expatriates offer such day-trip services. But it is entirely illegal.

So if you want to play it safe, it would be better for you to engage a local (Omani) driver cum guide to take you around.

A good point to get some leads of such (reliable) drivers would be at the local hotels.
