Hi
Can I check what’s the fee to Be paid for applying fora Long term visit pass for my Mother

Gravitas

Is this on the basis of an Employment Pass holder in Malaysia i.e. non-Malaysian?

ritakatyal

On an employment pass

Gravitas

EDS charges RM70 to the company to make the application plus the stamipng is RM90 per year. https://esd.imi.gov.my/portal/faq/myxpa … n-charges/
Agents charge what they want for their services e.g. https://www.3ecpa.com.my/services/immig … plication/

Hi
Thanks for this.
Correct me if I am wrong but what I understand is that if the company applies for the Long term visa for my Mother then I need to pay only 140 rm ?
Please comfirm
Thanks much

Gravitas

Ask them what they charge. You can of course refer to the fee structure mentioned above. There may be an overhead they have to pay in addition to ESD.

If you are under MDEC it costs more.

The paperwork can be a bit tricky.  Here is what ESD require
https://esd.imi.gov.my/portal/pdf/TC-ES … r-2017.pdf

It seems that MDEC charge 530 https://expats.com.my/expats/expats-new … -services/

ritakatyal

It’s under mdec
Would you know what’s the cost then ?
Thanks

Gravitas

Read what I wrote above and check the link - RM530 (there could be immigration charges on top).
