Bringing my pet (dog) to Ras Al Khaimah

Hello all!  :)

I previously posted about a visa and had some great feedback.
My boyfriend is a resident, living and working in Ras Al Khaimah.

I am joining him in 4 weeks, but I will only be on the temporary visa, and I will either travel to the border every so often to renew it, or, I will apply for a working visa and attempt to get a job there.

Anyway, my question is this, am I able to bring a dog into the country if I am not a resident?
As my boyfriend is, and we will be saying that my dog will be living with him.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thank you!
