Hey guys!  I'm Victor I'm really into swimming and since I'll be on vacation visiting Budapest for some days it would be great to find a place to go for a swimming practice.

Any suggestion?

If anyone knows a swimming or triathlon group which I can join it also would be great!

Cheers!
Victor

Since it is still cool outside you might be able to swim laps at one of the pools on Margret Island.
Usually the lanes are reserved for local swim teams but if you call first you may be able to get to share a lane.
Lots of pools in HU but not as cheap or as easy access as one would hope for.
It is rare if close to impossible to find a lap lane open just for one or two swimmers, usually crowded during peak season.
Places such as the Rudas are ok for cooling off but not for serious lap swimming. Most of the spas are not for actual exercise or laps.
The Island has pools that are only for lap swimmers.
Just look online and their phone number should come up.
Been awhile since we have swam there ourselves.
PS, bring a swim cap.
Be prepared to pay around 2,000 Forints to enter, perhaps a bit more even.
It's called,Hajos Alfred Nemzeti Sportusoda
