Busi Coler

Hi my name is Busi and l am originally from Zimbabwe. I have been teaching English and living in South Africa for ten year. I have a BA English, PGCE English and a Masters in English. I want to know categorically if it is possible to get a teaching job in China as a Zimbabwean citizen.

you categorically cannot work as a teacher in china with a Zimbabwean passport.  the Expert certificate required to be a teacher has 5 or 6 native english speaking countries for their requirements.  even some who are native speakers are not in that list.

some sketchy schools will work around that and hire you as a consultant or other job title that doesn't require an expert certificate.. but... those companies are sketchy.. and you're pay may suffer because of that.. and you will not have the same protections.. because you would be after all .. teaching without the proper certificates
