waiting for a work visa ??

hello friends,
I'm a former accountant worked in Manama, and due to some personal problems i left job. Before i left Bahrain, they cancelled my visa online(in passport there is no cancellation seal). Now i'm planning for a new beginning and already applied for a work visa. On 27-03-2018 onward it's in "Employment Visa is in progress", i asked about the delay, the agent said they are waiting for 'Embassy clearance' only after they can pay the fee, after this final stage i could get the valid visa. So 1) Is there any chance to reject my visa application from the LMRA side? 2) The embassy clearance is real ? 
or a patty excuse ? .... please help me
