An expatriate employee can bring only one family as dependents.

What your sponsor says is absolutely correct. Also, since all the paperwork has to be completed and submitted only by and through the sponsor / employer, it is best to listen to their advice.

Frankly, the salary you have mentioned would not be sufficient to maintain two families, let alone one.

Thank you soo much for your reply, but now my question is whether my son of 1st wife come in family joining visa only him no one else, I mean like by doing some paper work asking for permission to higher authority. Plus my salary is 600 but I run my own business here under my local Omani citizen who is my relative and my sister son so I can manage two wives.

Hi Mohdnasser,

You must produce your son's attested birth certificate before he can be brought over on a dependent visa.

If the sponsor is well-known to you then there is hope for achieving your desired objective. But whatever you do would have to be routed only through the locals, as you are probably aware.

What do you mean by dependent visa?  he is 16 years old and I want him to come on family joining visa and continue his studies here. And the situation now is that my 2nd wife is here with me in oman with her 2 children they have a family visa. I want to bring only my son of 1st wife son in family joining visa is it possible?

Family Joining Visa and Dependent Visa are both one and the same.

If the sponsor is your relative, then why are you having some many questions when you have all the answers !
