Moving abroad is no easy feat. Everyone has their own ways of dealing with stress, so we invite you to share some insights regarding this topic.

What are the main factors that contribute to stress when moving to Austria (cultural adaptation, moving with family, administrative and bureaucratic issues, language differences, etc.)?

What activities would you recommend to help deal with this type of stress?

What are some techniques that have helped you deal with stress?

Is there a way to avoid being stressed out or anxious when moving to Austria?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

I can honestly say I was never stressed moving to Austria. The only stress I did have was when I moved house, but that's the same in whatever country you live in. :)

My main stress issue is the administrative and bureaucratic issues. I am over 55, not working because I have a bad back, and will marry ain Austria and want to live with my husband. Unfortunately,  he is a refugee and does not have his Austrian status.
Please help with suggestions.

Ok, Lisa wed meet again, I really do feel your pain. I worked with refugees when they entered the country nearly 2 years ago. Now you need to PM me with all the information regarding your other half and your details. Include your email address. I will have to check the dates, but I pray that you have not overstayed
your visa?

Sorry, just checked. Do you have to go by July? But don't want to? This causes a problem as you can't work with your back problems. Unless you can support yourself and no work visa, without a sponsor it's so very unlikely you will be granted a stay. As your other half has no residency in Austria that causes more of a problem.
