Hi.My name is Hein and we are from South Africa.
We are planning to buy a second home in Mauritius.
I would like to know the following.
1.Which bank is the safest to bank with and which bank give the best interrest .
2.Which area is the best to buy property and rent out to visitors.
3.Which is the easyest way to immigrate to Mauritius.
4.How is the crime rate in M.
5.How is the weather in M.(Cyclone)
6.Is their any negatives to live in M.

Hi. There are a number of reliable banks however you would need to discuss with them to have a preferential rate. At this moment, Barclays Mauritius has good rates.
As for buying a second home, as per my knowledge, you cannot buy any house. It has meet certain criteria. The best area to get a property is the north. Full of tourist, safe, and kind of good vibe there.
