Are there any Shabbat/Jewish Community Services in Murcia region? My name is Jenni by the way.

Fred

I have no idea if this will help you, but here's hoping.

Many thanks for this Fred,

I have visited Lorca to look at the old synagogue but it is really a museum now. Actually it was quite a funny visit because the guide was so excited to have a live exhibit (me) that even though I'd missed the English tour she asked me back for a private tour in the evening. So 5 hours later when I was a dusty melted mess, up the hill she came with a group of well heeled exquisitely fragranced and dressed Spaniards from Madrid....Everyone was lovely but I was a little embarrased that the tour guide checked with me on all the details she was communicating for confirmation and when we watched the film and it came to the bit where the Jews were expelled the group turned to me and all gave a sympathetic look. It was quite hilarious at the same time.

Anyway, it looks like I need to move to Alicante or Valencia city for a community or maybe spend the odd weekend over there to join in services as there is nothing listed in Murcia. Once again many thanks.

I hope these will be of use to you :)
