staying here on visit visa

Post new topic

strangereleven

I came over  on a single entry visit visa a month and a half ago. I came to visit a family for potential work but it has not worked out.

The family booked me a flight for in few days time for me to fly back.

Is it okay to stay in the country for another few weeks on the same visit visa whilst I  go for interviews? I will be gone in two weeks if interviews don't work out, which is much before my 90 days. I have not informed the original family who got me the visit visa and i will not inform them.

In addition, if they found out I was still in KSA,   could they cancel my visit visa as I was originally visiting there family?

Hello, first make sure that your visit visa is valid for 90 days, at times the visit visa is issued for 30 days too.
Legally you can stay in KSA up to the visa duration. But during your stay if something goes wrong your sponsor wud be responsible for it. And if he doesn’t know what you are up to, then it might be a hassle for him and also for you. So it’s strongly advisable to inform him about your extension.

Good luck !
