Employed and Back to Study for masters cooling period

Fredrick13

Dear Expat members,

I have a question, if I have been employed for almost 1 year (lets say about 8-10 months) and wanted to resign to continue for master's degree study (full-time), will I need to serve the cooling period?

Any recommendation? I don't want to take part-time master studies as I am very busy already.

Thank you

If you plan to study in Malaysia, then it would probably be advisable to select your preferred course and get acceptance before you resign.  The educational institution can then advise you about immigration processes as they are responsible to carry them out.

You will have to leave Malaysia and return on a Visa With Reference for a Student Pass.

There is no cooling-off mentioned anywhere.  Try this: https://connect.emgs.com.my/
