Long term social pass for mother

Hi..
We are expats from India.My husband is under EP and myself,child under dependent pass.
I am planning to bring my mother to Malaysia to stay with us for a longer period of time of 6months and want to take long term visit pass for her.I have the scanned cerificate true copy of my birth certificate also.
Can anyone tell me what is the procedure for taking visa for her and what are the documents needed.
Pls help
How many days does it take to get visa and how should it be applied

Hi,

Info for Long term social visit pass (LTSVP):-

Documents required for LTSVP;
1. Copy of passport with blue background
2. Passport color copy, whole pages including blank pages and cover
3. Certified true copy of birth certificate - to prove the relationship
4. Copy of passport biodata page and valid Emplyment Pass

The process normally will take between 7-14 working days.

Immigration fee is about RM1,000 for 1 year.

Can you pls tell me if it can be applied online or only in Putra Jaya

If the Employment Pass approved by ESD, then it can be applied via ESD system as well.

The LTSVP must be applied with the same authority as per EP.

You may refer from the EP reference number and place of issue.
