Wants to travel with less than 6 months working visa

Hi!Is it true that i cannot travel anywhere except my home country if i have less than 6 months of my working visa? I am planning to go to dubai for a week in ramadan. My working visa is upto August 2018.

HI lawrenz128 !

Yess... you have heard it rightly. You need to renew your passport before you apply visit visa for another GCC country in case your passport validity is less than 6 months from the date of application of visa. I guess this is true for applying visa for any country, but I am sure about GCC at least.

My passport is no issue. Its still more than a year to expire. Its my visa here in oman that is less than 6months to expire which apparently will not enable me to travel anywhere else
