Malaysian worker visa taking tooo long

Hey everyone, hope you having an amazing day!

long story short, I've been in Malaysia for 3 years and completed my studies as a graphic designer after that I was seeking a job for 2 months or so and I got an offer and we start the prosses for hiring I worked w them for 2 days as a trial made 2 interviews everything is fine after that they advise me to get out of the country in order they make a visa for me as a worker visa coz I was student So, i have to get out and it's been 2 months so far and im still waiting and each week I got an update saying they sill waiting as well for the approvel and so on!!!

my Q here is

1-from where they got the worker visa from, is it from one place only so I could check w them?
2- is it really taking this long coz I was a student and they were scared of getting rejected?
