London is a great city and the games would be an enormous success there: no other city comes close in terms of being such an integrated international cosmopolitan city, but what is the attraction of an Olympic Games to a city?
To raise its profile, boost tourism & the economy, redevelop certain areas, etc.
Without wishing to sound proud of London:cool:, it doesn't particularly need any of those things at this time.

Paris. Time for a turn in "old" Europe (what a joke!) and the French are always full of surprises. Like you open a French book or magazine and there is always a surprise and you never know what!! I want to see the French do the Olympics. So many people in the world relate to Paris.
