Dear Sir/Madam

I have employed to work in Kuala Lumpur with tourist visa and they said every month they renew tourist visa for me. It's worring me.

1. Please ask we are able to renew tourist visa every month for Cambodian passport?

2. Is it okay to go to Singapore every month and come back Malaysia after one or two days?

Best Regards,

plongchen

There is no way of renew of visit visa on every month so u cant renew each time but in case if u exit each time and re enter again in that case may be but less chance of this . better to take work visa or work permit from the employer. but dont be lose ur self there its very difficult after u get involve so think before

It is illegal to work in Malaysia with a tourist visa. Your employer needs to get you the correct work permit/visa.
If you are caught you will be deported and banned from entering the country again.

Nemodot

You are working illegally. When caught you will be fined, jailed whipped and deported. I would go home if I were you

I will check with my gm here clearly about it. because i have 3 days left to leave here. If tourist visa can't be done in this time. Thanks for comment :(

Do not bother about checking with your GM as he will not tell you the truth. He is happy for you to work illegally in Malaysia as he has avoided the cost of getting work permit and visa for you.

Leave before you get found out.

Not only is it illegal to work on  a tourist visa, it is illegal to enter the country and work without a single entry visa (VDR for employment purposes) from your local Malaysian consulate before arrival. So that's two laws broken.

Third law broken is potentially you need medical clearance to enter Malaysia to work.

Fourth law broken is you are probably not paying income tax as that requires a work permit (and over RM34k income per year).

If you don't leave on time you risk being deported and banned for 5 years from entering Malaysia.

It would be best to start your hiring process again legally so you don't have to worry.

What is basically being said is: just renewing a tourist visa (if it even were possible) is not the solution to working legally.
