Hi all,
i am new to this forum, I got an offer in kuala lumpur malaysia. For the visa process, i have to wait Calling Visa that i got from MDEC which has been requested by my employer. But i already wait for 2 months and still got no updates for the VAL. My employer said that was due to the change of the goverment and huge inflow of application. Please give me some information regarding this.

Probaby true - it was Ramadan then Eid plus change of Government. The VAL approval is separate from the calling visa (VDR). So two ministerial dept are involved (Immigration and MOFA). Before it goes to immigration approval has to be obtained from the Expatriate Committee or another sectoral board.

Do you have any idea about the maximum time should i wait ?

initially, i have to wait for mdec approval. After 3 weeks, my employer said that it was in the last stage (Immigration Clearance), but i already wait for about a month in this stage. Do you think it does make sense?

Well the VDR clearance was taking about 20 working days in the past.
