We are moving to Cork from Dubai in the next month and would like to bring our filipina housekeeper with us.  My husband is setting up an limited company as he will be providing contracted services there for the next 3 years.  There is an office clerk that he would like to bring over too but we are struggling to find out if it is actually possible?  Would greatly appreciate any ideas and feedback?

many thanks

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

Your housekeeper and office clerk will need to apply for employment visas in order to work in Ireland; this link will take you to the Irish Government website that explains the process.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Cynic,

Unfortunately by the looks of it both are on the ineligible list as they are low income positions.  I was really hoping that it would be possible as it is for a fixed term, they are employed by us in Dubai and would be leaving Ireland with us in 3 years.

What price for quality and reliable staff eh? :)
