Moving to Tenerife

Hi
I am looking to move to Tenerife for a minimum of six months. I want to rent a small apartment and have a budget of about max 500 euros a month. I need to be in an area which is built up with shops and services etc. I`m a single guy aged 66 and in truth i dont know where to start. So any help or advice appreciated.

Dear Graeme. I am living on Tenerife South and for 500 euro it is highly complicated to find a rental long term at least at the South of the Island. Holiday rentals have broken the market for holiday long term rents. If you need more information ... thanks. Ibosch
