Hello,

Our employer (international school) just confirmed the Ministry of Education has approved our application and is working to get work permits through immigration. Does anyone have an idea of how long this process can take?

Thanks so much.

With the sectoral approval (MOE) theoretically immigration says it takes 5 working days to approve the immigration EP and perhaps a couple more to prepare the Visa Approval Letter electronically.

This is best case scenario because there is apparently a huge backlog due to Ramadan, Eid and change of government.

Thanks very much Gravitas.
