Living in Italy ... but where???

Post new topic

Barbar_Ella

Hello everyone!  :)

I am currently living in Munich, Germany.  At the beginning of this year I decided that I want to move and live from 2019/2020 in Italy. Therefore that I am still working in Germany and will continue to work in Germany will I live part-time in Italy and Germany. I haven't decided in which part of Italy I will like to live. I am asking all of you to tell me why your town or region would be greatest to live at. I also would like to get information on what I all have to consider in order to move and to become a good integrated person in your country. I am looking so forward to hearing from all of you and this hopefully includes also native Italians.

Grazie mille!!!

PS: I am learning Italian since February 2018

I am also planning to move during that period and I have narrowed my search to two cities. Livorno and La Spezia . The reason for choosing these cities ( although that decision could change) was based on a high rating in a listing of most habitable cities in Italy and my interests. I love the outdoors especially  sailing and snow skiing. Definetely,  I will be able to enjoy sailing and they both  have good transportation to easily reach ski area and they are close to major cities if I want to fly out abroad. So, you need to figure out what you are looking for and chose a place where you be able to enjoy those interests. Buona fortuna Nick
P.S.  I would welcome any inside info on La Spezia and Livorno

Hi Janek,
I noticed you lived in Lerici. Could you please tell me about this village? Is it mainly a tourist town ? How is the transportation (trains and bus)  to the rest of Italy? Does it have enough cultural and culinary ? can you get around without an automobile?
Molto grazie, Nico

Hi Jan,
I was looking at your website and services you provide and I think those are great services particularly in countries where you cannot or understand their language and costumes.
I will contact you at your site in regards to Lerici.
Thank you, Nick
