Hello everyone,

I'm hired as designer in Malaysia. The HR company notify me that i shall resend my passport copy because immigration need it to be clear. Previously i have sent my passport copy and thought it was clear, so i'm in need of information how exactly the copy should be?

Also, do you think this is the sign that my EP has possibilities to be approved? I read a lot of people here got rejected, and it scares me. This is the third time my application returned.

Thank you and i appreciate your help!

Gravitas

First, the problems are because the employer is not following the rules rather than your application might be turned down.

The Passport copy has to be in Colour and 100% clear.

The ESD guidelines state the requirements under each category of EP and Annex D

Hi Gravitas,

Thanks a lot for your help. Previously i did send them in color too, perhaps maybe it was not clear enough for them.

Is this actually a good sign that immigration wants to review my passport? Or it has nothing to do with the approval matter? Sorry for asking you a lot.

Thanks!

Gravitas

It's standard practice as the link explains.
