Hello,

School holidays are fun for the kids, but parents often struggle to find ways to entertain them when they have just moved to a new country. Share with us some information about keeping the family busy during that time of the year.

What are some of the favourite activities in Malaysia that families can enjoy together?

What types of activities are more popular (indoors, outdoors) for toddlers, young children, and teenagers?

How do you balance work in Malaysia while the children are on holiday?

Are there any resources such as youth centres or expat children communities, that offer activities for children during the holidays?

How do you plan your holidays with the family in Malaysia?

Tell us about your best family adventure in in Malaysia? Is there a bucket list of must-do activities? What are they?

Thank you for sharing your experience,

Priscilla

Malaysia has tons for kids to do. We have 10 year old and 14 year old girls who were both born here, so we’ve done this a lot.

My school holiday bucket list changes as they get older. This holidays we’ve almost through this list:

Drift cars
District 21
Escape room
Sunway Lagoon
Lara’s Place theatre camp (1 week program). The youngest has done 3 theatre camps this summer.
Genting
Indoor sky diving
Horse riding (daily)
Go karting
Camp 5 rock climbing
Cooking school
Virtual reality
Ice skating
Roller blading
Cycling
Club Med
Crab Island
Sky Trax
Plus of course the movies, which is super cheap in KL

Cheers,
Christine
