Hello.  I'll be moving to Italy in the very near future, and want to know how to send money to my children here in America, from Italy.

By bank is easy, the transaction take 2 days i think..not sure and the cost is low...moneygram and western union cost alot and the transaction take 2 hours.

Has the best rates anyone can offer. In fact, their rates are dynamic and change every few minutes depending on the market rates. The money I sent to India was transferred to bank account in less than 24 hours!! .Their customer care is helpful and you can chat online with customer care executives on their websites. You can pay with your debit card if bank transfer is not available.
