I am recruited by "IT Can business solutions" in KL. Do you know about this company? and somebody please let me know what is the normal visa process for a foreigner who is hiring by a Malaysian company. I'm already have signed the offer letter and sent all the document they requested for the visa process.
Also, I want to know don't I have to face to medicals before process the visa?
I'm helpless at the moment because getting plenty of bad comment here in Sri Lanka about fake companies who issuing only visit visas to foreigners, promising they will provide work visa after arrival to Malaysia but no work visas will be issued to them.
your response on this is highly appreciated.

The main safeguard is that you need a Visa With Reference (VDR) to be issued by the Malaysian High Commission or Consulate in Sri Lanka. Without this, a work permit can't be issued after arrival. It's a single entry visa for employment purposes. NEVER arrive on a tourist visa.

You only need a medical if the employment pass is Category III which means the salary is under RM5000 per month.

This guide may help you. https://esd.imi.gov.my/portal/pdf/TC-ES … r-2017.pdf

IT Can business solutions does not seem to come up in any internet or Facebook searches but it may be this company https://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/ITCAN … 238834.htm

You are right to be hesitant.

There are two ways to get a work permit for people from Sri Lanka as they fall under the Foreign Worker category.

It is better to be recruited under a Professional Employment Pass (which the ESD link is referring to). MDEC also process EP applications for IT knowledge workers.

Both require a VDR - single entry visa - issued in Sri Lanka by the Malaysian consulate.
