Hi everyone, I just wanna know if it is safe to travel alone from Riyadh to Jeddah via land? I am planning to travel on Eid'l Adha to Jeddah. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Could you elaborate the mode of the journey, by bus or private taxi or drive own car?

I guess you are a woman, I'd suggest you to travel by air

Some of my friends advice me to take a bus if via land, it is more safe than taxi. To take a flight also sounds great, but actually I want to see some places while travelling via land. If it is not safe to take a bus alone, may be I will invite a friend to travel with me. Thanks.

You can either travel by Air or by BUS [SAPTCO]

I have seen Saudi Women travelling alone or with kids via SAPTCO bus. Taxi/private car or private bus is not recommended for single woman
