Hi,

I know there’s experts on visa issues in Malaysia. Thought you can help me out.

Im in KL now on a 90 day social pass, like any British person gets when entering.

My girlfriend has a work permit as an international teacher here in KL.

Im lucky that I can bring my work with me, its a UK online business, a family business actually (registered with Company Houses). So Im very flexible with where I can work. I just need a WiFi connection.

I obviously wont overstay my 90 day pass, so I  aim to leave before that to other countries around. For example Im off Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand etc, then re-enter KL to get a further 90 days etc.

Is everything Im doing fine? Im not doing anything wrong am I? I just need some reassurance from an expert, or if you have any tips to give me about this area.

Thank you!

Staying outside Malaysia for some time is a good idea

There are a couple of other options
https://www.mtep.my/

Or if you are common law partners which is recognised for some nationalities a Social Visit Pass  (Long Term) can be applied for

The basic cost of the MTEP is USD600-1200 plus immigration fees and charges
