Around Fortuna near Murcia (where I live) there is a considerable expat community, and we meet every saturday at the market where we speak English, Spanish, German, Nederlands (which in fact is one of the 57 German dialects), and French enjoying the good weather and some pints. In Galicia I remember Porto do Son. also have been to a power plant in Pontes de Garcia Rodriguez. Seems there are some problems with this year's grelos harvest..

Hi All newbee here

I currently live in Andalucia, ( 8 years)  we are going travelling for  a while as we have sold our house now.

Thinking of Galicia area to relocate to, I note from some earlier posts , English community a bit sparse, is it getting better or are you all still struggling?

Hi,  my Father is 40 minutes outside Santiago de Compostela. He is Spanish but lived in the UK for 30+ years and keen for any social/meet up groups, please can anyone share any suggestions. Many Thanks!
