Hi,

My wife will be moving with me on spouse/dependent visa. She has Masters in Mechanical Engineering and 1 year of internship/trainee experience.

What are the opportunities available for any internship or entry level job in Mechanical Design Engineering field ( assuming employer will give her work pass)

Are there any training institutes which teach Mechanical CAD softwares and she can enroll for such courses?

Gravitas

She would need a total of 2-3 yrs work experience to qualify for a work permit.

=> Okay

Is employment pass is required to do any internship or do some technical courses from private institutes

Internships are usually done on a different visa for non-Malaysians. You can see the different types in this guide. https://esd.imi.gov.my/portal/pdf/TC-ES … r-2017.pdf Most internships would go to local applicants to fulfil their study completion criteria.

Casual classes may be possible without changing to a student visa, but it will depend on the provider. Anything full time would require a student visa

Thats the issue about being a foreigner - nothing is straight forward.
