are there any buses that I can take her on ?

or should I just leave her home.

can I take her places in SMA?

my landlady tells me UBER will haul us around.

gave up on driving, too much hassle..

anyone else have thoughts about being with a dog in SMA

and bringing her with me places?

I have a letter from a therapist and a jacket, tags.

Mexico doesn’t recognize emotional support animals. As such, you cannot expect the same rules to apply in Mexico as in the US and other countries.

Green taxis in San Miguel have a rule not to pick up animals. Some drivers choose to not abide by the rule, and risk an infraction. Uber vehicles are a private service and therefore drivers can choose to provide service to animals,or not.

Some restaurants in town such Cafe Rama, allow dogs. Mercado Sano does too.

If your dog is small and fits in a bag you can take it to most places except Restaurants and hotels.
If it is not small then your dog will not be welcomed to many places.

Keep in mind that dogs are not considered "members of the family" like they are in the US. Because of that, they are not welcome in nearly as many places as you would be used to. Traveling around with a dog will present some additional challenges, but can be done if you're determined.

when I was there I saw dogs in the street all the time, with and without their people. there didnt seem to be dog fights, or crap in the street, that I saw. are people picking up? (I always do, of course)

I saw some dogs in some restaurants...
anyone got a list of dog friendly places?
