As I am sure many of you know KOTESOL 2018 is being held at Sookmyung Women's University in October.

(First Campus, Myungshin Building)
(100 Cheongpa-ro 47-gil), Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea

I will be attending but have not been to Seoul (aside from transit at Inchon ) for 25+ years and that was only fir a week.

So I am poking about for a place to stay hotel ( and I have no idea what area would be best.

I am looking to be near the conference site (reasonable taxi fare and taxi time ) but do not want to be in the dead zone (or so it appears in area of the University)

The uni is a little south west of Seoul station so I was thinking the area a bit Yo the north east (2-3 km away looked ok)

I would like a reasonable priced hotel (70-89 usd) near where I can get some good Yakiniku and walk to a few shops.

Could anyone suggest a general area? Thank you.

Well I guess there is not enough traffic to the site to get an answer or some other reason.

Anyway, I found what I needed elsewhere, so it is not necessary to answer (in case there are any latecomers to post)
