hi my partner is a teacher and we want to move to Asia maybe Malaysia, Thailand or anywhere in Asia what are my options for acquiring a visa for a years stay

You should read about visa regulations for each of the countries you are interested in - most of the country forums on this site have extensive discussions about the topic.
If then you still have some detailed questions that were not answered, you can post them on these forums as well and will most likely get good answers.
In general, countries give visas to people that benefit the country. Thus you need to have skills (and a job) that are in demand (work visa), or lots of money (investor visa, e.g. MM2H in Malaysia).
For you, aid worker in underdeveloped places like Myanmar or Cambodia comes to mind: The disabled have a VERY bad life there and need all the assistance they can get! Approach charities active in those countries if this is an option for you.
