delay in processing visit visa

I applied to a 2 weeks visit visa to Bahrain 9 days ago and yet no updates. it says on the site (it takes from 3-5 days).
So if anyone has a recent experience with that.

It can take up to 3 weeks depending on nationality and time of the year. This week and last week, there have been some public holidays in Bahrain as well.
