You may have to look at the location. Rent in Casablanca is high depending the location. It sometimes better to get an appart little bit far the city, and fortunately you have access easily to the city. Sorry for my bad english

How high?  Curious as I am considering looking to buy a place and maybe rent it in the future.
If renting in Casablanca around how much are most people asking a month?

We almost bought a house on the edge of the city/ not city centre in the summer, but my husband walked away from the deal because there was some condition saying it could not be sold for so many years that was strange.

Totally depends on the location.
There are cheap and good
Places like Bourgogne and Gauthier.

Also do not shy away from bargaining.
