I was in Sri Lanka last year and heard a song I loved...something about someone sitting by their window wondering if their lover still loved them. Something about their lover not coming around, hence the waiting by the window. It's a slow-ish, soft, sweet, sad song..that's all I know! Thanx

If it is a female vocal, I guess that your song is called "Kimada na we - ei na we - tharaha wee, Kauda Kee we - boru kee we - mage daya. ..." The lyrics say that the girls is at the window daily for your arrival and wondering as to why the lover boy is not returning. My cottage is now in solitary surrounded by loneliness and silence. And it has never been so before.

If this is the song, the singer is called (Ms.) Indrani Perera. The song title is "Kimada Na we" which means, why didn't you come.
