Hi everybody,
I´m a spanish nurse currently leaving in Stockholm.
My husband got a good job opportunity in Oslo and he is moving there next month.
I´m wondering if anybody knows if I can work in Norway as a nurse with English and a basic Swedish.
I´m a Registered Nurse in Sweden, Spain and UK.
Please, if you know something about this topic let me know.

Thank you very much in advance.

Christine

There are several Swedish nurses working in Norway. So I would assume that you could work in Norway too if you are qualified for work in Sweden.

Although there might be a small language barrier though. If you speak Swedish well there would be noe problems however since all Norwegians understand Swedish.

Hei, you should look at this website of the Norwegian Registration Authority for Health Personell:
http://www.safh.no/english/index.html

I think you need to be registred as a nurse in Norway before you can start working, so you might want to stat applying for the registration before moving to Norway. You have to pay about 1000 kroner.

There is an E-mail adress on the front page if you have some questions for them before sending the application.

Wishing you good luck!
