Hello everybody
I m portuguese i have been a lot of times on usa i m really in love of this contry and they people,i wold like to know is There any possibility to go there and open a coffee or restaurant ? I dont want a job i want to open something thank you

There are visas for people who want to start up a business. Look into an E-2 Investor visa. The amount needed for investment depends on the type of business. If successful, one can stay in the US as long as they are still running the company but it is not an immigrant visa and thus does not lead to a green card.

The benefits of an EB-5 visa are better, leading to a green card. But it also has a lot of requirements like investing at least 1 million USD in a city setting or half a million in a rural one. It also has to result in the creation of at least 10 permanent full-time jobs.

Yes, depending on which country you a citizen of, most definitely there is a relatively straight forward way to come to US to own or manage a business of your own or of one of your country person.
