SEV is still valid but VAL has expired

Can i enter malaysia if my reference visa has been approved before the val expired? Let say, my val was expired nov 5, but i my passport was stamped as reference visa before nov 5. My ref visa stamped in my passport will expire on january. Need advice. Thanks
