See both the places are expensive in every sense. You tell your budget and how many rooms probably i can help.
Cheers

Hey Guys,
Have you been successful in meeting up? Any plans to meet up in the near future. I live in Gurgaon but work in New Delhi, so a get together in any place works for me.
Best,
Yash.

Hello everyone,
Did you all manage to do a meet-up?
how about if we all pick a date and location (on a saturday would be convenient for everyone) unless you already have a busy social life?
what do you all think?
waste your time looking for foreigners
may I remind you that you are on a website dedicated to expatriates / foreigners ?
You are right but nobody is paying attention to me.
Guys, I will be in Delhi in a month time, please let s meet up!
Your are welcome in Delhi. When you will arrive here. Lets know. I will try my best to meet you.
Hi everyone,
We are 3 French people newly arrived in Delhi. 2 of us are doing an internship in architecture.
We really look forward to meet new people to hang out, have a drink or something.
See you guys soon!
Hi moustikipik
unfortuantely no such meet has happened as of yet...we are not getting many response from expats to meet as of yet..
will look to arrange something in either Gurgaon or south delhi once we get more people on board!
enjoy your stay in New Delhi! shout out if you need any help!
How about meeting at DLF Prominade Mall in Vasant Kunj, it is close to gurgaon and for everyone in Delhi also it is convenient, the mall has a few cafes.... Cafe Mocha is pretty relaxed and has enough space to accommodate... how about a table for 8 people to start with.... please post your confirmation and we all can meet (Saturday time: 6pm)
Hi, It is just behind my university's wall.
Can I join you?
Or you can visit my university J.N.U
Let me know please: javedjnu2009@gmail.com
Dylan, i would love to visit thailand, I have a maye living there as well, but my plans are to visit in 2012 feb.
starkhan, you are welcome to join,
first we need a group of people who are willing to come over to cafe mocha in DLF Prominade
The cafe has alcohol for the ones who like to drink any kind of spirits and coffee for teetotalers
Saturday 6pm?
Hi Dorian, Have you been able to find some good places all this while to hang around in Delhi.
Barista in Defence Colony market has a laidback atmosphere. It also offers alcohol and Wifi.
And for that matter, Barista at Khan market too. That's a great place to while away time. It's a lounge.
For alcohol and music-- I mean cheap alcohol and great music (Jazz)-- there is a good place in South Delhi. We can meet there, if your search for a good place is still on.
The best part is they allow stags and there is no cover charge. The atmosphere is great too. At times, they have live music when they charge for entry.
My email sunniek@rediffmail.com
Best
Sid
Hello there!
It is very nice to have people all over the globe in this website, but it looks like there are only few foregners and the majority are Indians.... very nice to see them so eager to meet western people,
but where are the expats??????
Yeah, I know what you mean. It's nice to see the locals are so eager to entertain, but some of us are just looking for friend, as we are here with husbands/fiance's & trust me, my husband won't like it if I start hanging out with the local guys. And it's very difficult to make friends here to hang out with, because as a foreigner everybody looks at you like you are somewhere from space & not just a normal human being. I've been here for a month & still no friends. I hope the future will bring some better experiences.

Hi,
Expats are busy and doing well, making their best effort to settle their lives, but fortunately WE INDIANS have much time to wait for foreigners. Why do you not suggest US to do our jobs not wage the tails behind you?
Have a nice stay here.

I guess you've got a nice husband and a jealous man in a positive way. You must trust him and try to get in touch with good people. There are many nice girls and women also. In fact Indians look at foreigners as they are from other land. I think the frequency will decrease this feeling little by little. You must visit some educational areas like DU, J.M.I and J.N.U etc.
There is a variety of persons, it's up to you whom you are choosing.
Best of luck bye.
Thank you very much. I will try your suggestion. I hope you didn't take my comment in a bad way, but it was just an honest opinion from a foreign point of view, since I come from a country with such a diverse culture, to us everybody are the same, so sometimes it can be a bit daunting when feeling like such an outsider.

Hello Kingfisher, if you want to organize an Expat.com Meet-Up, do not hesitate, you may propose something on the forum itself.
