I live in Devon, that is South West, so bear that in mind when I answer some of the questions,

How much does it cost to rent an apartment or a house in England?
I was renting a 3 bedroom house for £650 a month, had to pay 1 months deposit and a month in advance and £300 in checks (mine and my husband's) to be able to rent it.

How about buying an apartment or a house in England?
depending on the area, how old the building is or if it is new build, goes £140k to £300 this is a standard house no manor or estate!

How much do you pay for basic food items such as rice, bread, and pasta?
I'm terrible at this, only thing I know it's that you should go buy at Lidls or Aldi's as it is cheaper than tesco and asda. m&s is more expensive.

What is your monthly budget for groceries?
£500 (family of 4) buying gluten free and lactose free

How much does it cost to see a doctor or health specialist in England?
nhs is free. have not gone the private route so don't know. and many workplaces pay for your health insurance, so you can claim back a bit on dental or glasses and meds

How much does childcare cost on average per month?
when your child is 3, he/she gets 15hrs of childcare per week free. before then about £50+ per day. do your maths!

What is your child's schooling budget per month?
my eldest goes to a breakfast club. so that's £27 a month, he doesn't get free meals (doesn't qualify) but takes a lunch box. school meals are £2.15 a day

How much do you pay for electricity/gas/water etc., per month?
electricity and gas £90 and water £77 (includes sewage and it is not on a meter so I use a lot! to make my money's worth)

How much do you pay for your internet and phone subscription?
I pay £40

How much does it cost to rent an apartment or a house in England? How about buying an apartment or a house in England? :depends where you live, but normally 20% of salary on rent, then electricity and heating /water is £50-100/month according to size of the house

How much do you pay on average for public transportation (bus, subway, train, tram, taxi)? Taxi is expensive, around £2/mile, Train and underground depends on your journey. All day underground in London is around £9-12 depending on what time you will use the tube.

How much do you pay for basic food items such as rice, bread, and pasta? 500 gm pasta is less than £1, bread the same

What is your monthly budget for groceries? depends on your budget, you will find what you want , basic will be £50/week

How much does it cost to see a doctor or health specialist in England? NHS free, otherwise consultation around £150-£250

How much do you pay for health insurance per month? Young person, £50-80 / month depending on what you want to be covered

How much does childcare cost on average per month? Cost for what?

What is your child's schooling budget per month? Private: £8K-15K/year, State school is free

How much does it cost to fill up your car’s fuel tank? I L is about £1.30

How much do you pay for electricity/gas/water etc., per month? £50-150

How much do you pay for your internet and phone subscription? £30

How much do you pay for your lunch pack on weekdays? £5

How much do you pay for an espresso coffee? £3

How much do you pay for a cinema ticket? £15

How much does a gym membership cost in England?£50-120/m

Price: £ 1600 Paunt

Electricity and gas monthly £ 60 paunt

Water per year: £ 450 paunt

Tax monthly £ 110 paunt

Transportation, buses £ 1.5 paunt

Metro 1 and 2 zone £ 1.7 pounds, oyester card is used.

Monthly cards are around £ 130 pounds.
