Best rural places to live for commuting/education ?

Post new topic

Hey all.

I won't give you a life story, but we're moving to Sweden and we are wondering if anyone can narrow down some places that would be appropriate for us to narrow down our search to.

We are moving in order to start a business but my son might have to retrain at some point to find work of his own.

We would like to know if anyone knows any places where property is reasonable (under 100k euros)  but which is also within a couple of hours of where there is stuff going on eg jobs/education.

We don't want to live in a city but obviously if we need to help our son look for work he needs to be able to commute to where the jobs are.

Any info ? We're looking at maybe up to an hour outside of Orebro. What about the north ? Any point taking advantage of the cheaper property there or is it so rural that commuting/training/education etc is too far away/unfeasible ?

We're just trying to narrow down a search area at the mo.

Many thanks in advance. Phil.

Hello Phil,

"commuting/training/education etc" is there anywhere in the country on a basic level. But the closer you live to a city the more options you get as anywhere else in the world. Actually we may can give you much better answers if we know little bit more specific info for instance what your son plans to study  or which kind of target customer you prefer for your businessplan etc. Cheers!
