Nadia Scheepers

Good morning, Sir.
Hi we are a family of 4 (2 boys 18 and 20).  We have been operating a Plant Hire Company for 17 years in South Africa. We are currently based in Gauteng. We are looking into opportunities in Mauritius (like a family operation).
We would like to stick to what we know...Plant Hire (Bell, Hitachi, Cat, Bobcat)  we can opperate our own machines. Could you please help me with your opinion.
Thanx
Nadia Scheepers

Dear Nadia

Such commercial activities - renting of heavy duty machinery - will not qualify you as an investor in Mauritius.

Though there are other related avenues.

Construction business is good in mauritius.

Construction business is a bit regulated as closely linked to property ....
As Vayid mentions, it might be tricky to get a permit on this.
