Hi All,

I have one query. It will be very helpful if someone gives their inputs.

I came in Malaysia on Dependent Pass.
Recently I got a job offer, my hiring organisation has applied for Employment Pass for me.
I got stage 1 acknowledgement  letter saying that immigration Department  has received application on 31st December 2018.
I have canceled my DP and My Dependent pass has been amended till 9th February 2019.
I have submitted my passport for stage 2 but it’s not yet approved.
We had planned trip to Thailand from 1st Feb to 6th feb.

My query is, can I travel with above scenario?
Is there any option so that I can travel?

Quick help is appreciated.

Gravitas

You need your passport to travel and your DP would still be valid to re-enter as you mention it is shortened to 9th Feb.

Rohinee

I think my passport is still with hiring organisation. So I can take it back from them.

I just wanted to know will there be any problem as DP is valid for such a short period, in this case is it possible to travel to other countries and then enter again in Malaysia.?

Gravitas

If you carry some paperwork regarding 1sr stage approval that should be OK

Rohinee

Ok.
I will do that.
Thank you so much for your inputs. :)
