Visiting visa to work permit - Malaysia

Hello,

A couple of friends of mine recently travelled to Malaysia from India in Visiting visa with an intent to find a job over there. After they landed there, they got a job and Visit Pass (Temporary employment) with a help of an agent by spending sothe
Bygfmoney. However they haven't got I-kad as they were told by the agent that it needs another 500 RM. Right now, they are working and doing a decent living. However, I am not still sure whether their Pass is valid or if they are documented workers. Here are my questions.

1. Is it possible to get Employment pass when you flee through visitng visa?
2. Is there a way to validate the authenticity of the visit pass?

Dont ever do this step to go on vist visa & find a job u will suffer a long
dont try to find job r work on visit visa u will b under big trouble , now ur friends will come under trouble later wait & watch its not so easy to go on visit visa & work, if get caught 5 year ban to enter. same as me,

Think well b4 do any thing

They have been scammed. Indians cannot get a legal work permit while on a tourist visa.

If caught they face jail time, a fine, a whipping and deportation.
