Why would you need to set up a bank account? I am not sure if i get you right but you should not send any money to a travel agency!

Fred

I can see why an employer would want you to have a UK based bank account. BACS (bank transfer) is a common way to get paid in the UK but you have to take care.
Giving your basic details, account number, sort code won't do a criminal a lot of good but NEVER sign anything with those details given on it.
Anyone can put money into your account but can only get at it if you sign something to say they can.

thanks so much...i appreciate your reply... anyway i never gave any of my bank details...
