What is the best beach in the world?

Post new topic

gpaleol

Well, I have been in different places of the world. I had the feeling that Asia has the best but now I can say the best and generally good to express yourself are located in europe.

Top beaches without restrictions and borders are in GREECE almost everywhere. I put some cloth optional like

1. Lesvos Island - Eftalou
2. Samos Island - Tsamadou
3. Evia - Hiliadou

In Spain the best is Cala San Ramon next to Tosa de Mar in COSTA BRAVA

In Asia the best is in BORACAY, Aklan, Philippines. The so called tropical paradises of Bali and Phuket were great dissapoinments. Though there is a good small island in Thailand in Pattaya that is called Koh Sah, that is nice when, garbage have been collected from tourists...lol.

Some beaches in Africa are great as well.

Beaches in Zanzibar, as examples....

the best beach is a white sand beach with clear water that no one has stepped a foot on yet! imagine you're the first to!

catpaws

The beach on my local lake in Correze where it's always quiet and clean.

EmilieRo

beaches in Ireland ! With green grass just near to it

Tulum, Mexico!  Yes, sorry fellow Aussies, it is right up there with the best beaches in Oz! I couldn't believe it either.

if you don't define a beach as a place where the weather is warm enough to swim, sunbathe & wear a bathing suit, the beaches in Iceland are actually quite spectacular. My favorite is bright yellow sand surrounded by black lava columns, and on clear days it's got a view on a volcano/glacier. There's another one that is vast sweeps of black sand with seals & amazing birdlife in the surf.

I have lived in Hawaii and Florida and I traveled far around the world though I will not say I have seen every beach... but the best on mainland IS is Siesta Beach Florida... Hawaii is better as I have a requirement for great clarity in the water.... the water in Florida was not good for clarity but the beach was great.  Hawaii, I liked Kailua Beach in the morning- sunrise and Waikiki at sunset.  Though I am sure there are better beaches there yet to be discovered by me.

DogloverfromVI

Cane Bay in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. Diving is great too if you SCUBA.

Tulum is a great choice; another beach is Lanikai Beach in Oahu, Hawaii. It is uncrowded and the scenery is fantastic. It is the type of place where you can really go to relax while on vacation!!!

Flamenco Beach, Culebra Island, Puerto Rico.

There are lots and lots of great beaches round the world. No matter how fascinating they are,I dare not swim in any of them.Cuz I have phobia swimming in a large volume of water. So to me my best beach is in my bathtub.

All of our beaches are on lakes, so I doubt they're the best in the world.
