If you are looking to install a stone worktop, maybe the people at CerArte in Punta Cana can give you a recommendation. An Interior Designer I worked with had good opinions of them.

This is their website and they have an outlet in Punta Cana Shopping Mall #3.

You have to be careful in selecting good tradesmen in DR. They will all say they can do the work but finishing skills come at a premium so you are right to try and get personal recommendations too.
