Employment visa atteststion

Hello,

The embassy is rejecting my application for a work visa because the employment contract is not physically stamped by the Chamber of Commerce. The employment contract was electronically attested by the Chamber of Commerce however the embassy demands a physical stamp. I informed the company, but they insist that the electronic stamp is a valid form of attestation. The company also stated that the Riyadh Chamber no longer physically stamps documents which I do not believe to be true.  After doing a little research, I found a few websites that specifically states that electronic attestation is only valid for certain documents and that the employment contract must be physically stamped. The information on these websites may not reflect any current changes so   that is why I am still not sure if the company is correct.

As of February 2019, does the Chamber allow electronic attestation of employment contracts?

(Note: I have been trying to contact the Chamber by phone and email with no success.)

It doesn't matter. Unfortunately they do whatever they want to do. If they are telling you that you need the original document then you need to get that sent to you.

my experience (just 4 weeks ago): I got ALL documents needed for the visa in original, stamped and signed from the company/BOI.

I guess you need to have it in original and signed/stamped
