Sir,
I am 69 years old and my wife 60 years old from India.. Our son is Bahrain along with his wife and both children. They are having Permanent resident numbers. We want to be with them as we cannot take care of us alone.. How to get the Permanent resident number so that we can stay permanently.

Bahrain has NO residence visa for parents (as dependents) - only spouse and children are eligible for residence visa.   Every application is subject to case by case approval on exceptional basis.   The majority of the applications are rejected.  The few that are approved are generally for employees of big companies or people with high net worth.

So your option is to apply as dependent of your son and see what happens.  There is no guarantee of any success.

The only sure way to get residence visas is for you to either purchase property in your name worth 50,000 BD or more OR be an investor in a company to get investor visas.
